Abstract: THE ROLE OF RECRUITMENT TRAINING FOR HIRING MANAGERS
This study aims to explore the role of recruitment training for hiring managers, focusing on its impact on candidate selection, interview effectiveness, and overall recruitment outcomes. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a diverse population. A sample size of 310 respondents is derived using Taro Yamane's formula to ensure representativeness. The case study is conducted in Ogun, targeting a pharmaceutical company with a comprehensive recruitment training program for hiring managers. The reliability coefficient score of 0.87 indicates high reliability. Findings suggest that recruitment training significantly improves hiring managers' ability to select high-quality candidates and conduct effective interviews, enhancing overall recruitment outcomes. Recommendations include investing in ongoing recruitment training programs for hiring managers and regularly assessing their effectiveness.
